“The podcast is okay but it seems to focus on the British Museum more than the specific objects each podcast is supposed to be about.
For example, the Olduvai stone chopping tool is viewed in it's historical importance and the importance to the Museum but they went into very little details on how it was made.
I do now know, for example, what stone it was made out of, or how sharp it is now and would have been when made all those years ago.
They hinted at its construction method by numbering the strikes to create it's sharp edge but nothing more.
Though this podcast is interesting I feel there is so much more that could have been done with this subject, I only hope it gets more technical and insightfull later on in the series.”Read full review »
