Utterly Brilliant
I considered just giving this a glowing review because of Robert Ashley's involvement. Not out of blind fandom, but because I had faith that anything he would produce would be great. But just in case, I decided to listen anyway. Turns out, I could have saved some time and posted that review anyway, because it's fantastic. It's well-written, well-produced, and it's a concept that is so fresh to the world of gaming podcasts. Ashley took a format that, even though it has been done very well for This American Life, has never been tried--much less to such great results--for a video game-specific show. It's well worth your time to check it out, and this has already rocketed up my list of favorite must-listen podcasts.Read full review »

This hasn't been done quite this well before; a podcast with an introspective, in-depth look at video games and the gaming culture that speaks well to any social group, not just to “hard-core” gamers. An audible editorial for anyone even the least bit interested in the hobby.Read full review »
