“I’ve listened to a few different, very decent, female-entrepreneur podcasts with a slant toward interior design. LuAnn’s "A Well Designed Business" is the FIRST podcast, that has left me looking forward to the next one. Also the first one that I've listened to where I can’t double-task. I want to hear EVERY word. If an outside noise (I live in Manhattan) drowns out a sentence or two, I replay that section. She interviews consummate pros in the category of the day, and asks them excellent questions. When I listen to “A Well Designed Business”, I want to be able to jot things down. Sometimes I’ll pause the interview just to take in what was said. If I don’t already know her interviewee, I add their website to my bookmarks, and their books (if they’ve written one) to my wish-list, or buy them immediately. After listening to a few of her podcasts I found myself wishing she’d interview herself! I wanted to know more about Window Works, low and behold I’d find #52 “Turning the Tables - an Interview with LuAnn". I was SO happy to hear more about her expertise. It was unusual for me to want to hear the interviewer talk about herself because, with the other podcasts I’ve listened to, I find that there’s a bit too much of that. I often feel as though I’m a fly on the wall in the office of coworkers shooting the breeze about their day, my mind often wanders. "A Well Designed Business" is friendly, fun, full of professional respect, and NEVER veers off point. I HIGHLY recommend it!!”Read full review »
