“Imagine, spending years trying to learn Spanish, without learning how to communicate. That was me.
Using traditional learning techniques, all ending in the same result, spending months on grammar but not being able to have a conversation with a Spanish speaker.
Help, is at hand using Accelerated Spanish. I downloaded a few of these podcasts and listened to them.
The new approach (to me) adopted by Timothy using memory palaces was like a wind of change, and allowed me to make sense of what I had learned before but allowing me to retend more .
However, using the language frequency lists allows you to really concentrate on getting a real return on your time spent learning.. It is amazing that top 25 words can make a large percentage of actual words used. This in itself gives to confidence to listen/read native media like news websites or Spanish TV, knowing that you understand a large part of it.
The podcasts are fantastic but used in conjuction with videos available on the website will allow you to visualise what is being taught in the podcasts..
I joined the 3 month private tutition course to be able be in contact with a native speaker who is only too pleased to help with any queries you may have.
If you keep with the podcasts/course you will meet your goals but you must be strict and believe in the process, even if at first you find it strange.
Even now, some months after, how quickly I can recall the verbs and words.
I only regret is that I didn't find this podcast earlier.
Try it, you have nothing to lose but so much to gain.
