Methadone
This show is the Methadone for my Hypercritical/Build & Analyze withdrawal. Those two shows are some of my favorites of all time. It is great to hear them again. The show isn't just a rehash of the same formats from the past. Instead it seems to take a different, a more informal, tack. I enjoy it. I don't really need a show to tell me about the topics of the day, instead what I enjoy is hearing intelligent discourse unpacking the implications of the news and speculating on what might come next. Casey adds a nice balance to the other guys, in some ways playing the role that Dan used to play on the old shows, helping to steer and reign the discussions at time.Read full review »
