I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda and Kevin at a signing for their Comic books and graphic novels. During one of our discussions podcast were brought up and I discovered they had one for scary stories and local legends of the South. This podcast does a fantastic job of creating an atmosphere without making it gimmicky and relying on lots of superfluous sound effects. The stories are high quality and don’t need any of the typical gaudy additions. The narrators voices are smooth and emotive, which is an impressive balance for...Read full review »

The stories are original, yet familiar. Campfire horror fun with a southern twang. Love it.

I decided to try this podcast as a fan of its creators’ past horror comics. I was not disappointed! They have taken their story telling to a new level with this spoken word format. If y’all love a good scare, give it a listen, but make sure you do it with the lights on...ya hear?!?

These guys are just starting out with podcasts but I’ve been following them for years in comics and graphic novels. Always solid storytelling with a twisted edge. Look forward to hearing more tales.
