Amazing storytelling! I’ve never been to this region of the US, but Nina can sure paint a picture. Great podcast!!

That was just thoughts on whether this was a tragedy, no true analysis.

Great discussion about Jennifer Crumbley. It was casual as you described it would be and it was thought-provoking.

I love hearing stories from my home state. Also, the hosts voice is so soothing and I really enjoy her storytelling.

All the reviews where people say she’s an AI BOT or something like that are hysterical. I’ve actually met her in person and she’s not AI or a Bot. I’ve been listing at least 6 years too.

Why is everyone applauding her voice? She sounds like a robot reading a script.

Great podcast that’s pleasant to listen to, though the content is not necessarily pleasant but very interesting. Thank you!

I fall asleep to this podcast because Nina’s voice is so calming…even though she’s talking about murder! lol! I’ve seen some of the stories she tells on true crime tv shows but I always enjoy listening to her tell it. She’s also made me want to visit Michigan.

There is a lot to like about this pod. Nina has an excellent voice for podcasting. Regardless of genre, she would be pleasing to the ear. She emotes as necessary, giving trigger warnings for content that is more graphic. That said, she shows empathy both to victims and their loved ones. I can...Read full review »

Nina has the best voice in podcasting. I discovered her by accident but I knew right away she would be a star.
erminiver via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/28/23
Nina had a very soothing voice and always tells the lesser known cases.
cswan843 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/21/23
It was always an okay podcast, never amazing. But it just kept getting more and more boring. Also, I came back to check something and turns out Nina has gotten very lazy and hires writers now.

I’m very happy I found this podcast. Nina offers a well-researched, compelling and respectful collection of narratives that tells us a bit about Michigan crime history and the intricate criminal motivations. Her voice is soothing, friendly, and consistent all through. One of my favorite night...Read full review »

Nina gets to the point, is a great storyteller and has a great voice for reporting.

I’ve listened to your podcast for awhile now. I’ve read through the negative reviews and most of them read like one angry reviewer with a bunch of fake accounts and an agenda. Don’t pay them any mind. You are a great host, with great content, and a melodic voice. Keep putting out great...Read full review »

there are oddly long pauses when the speaker finishes saying something at times. I often think I am getting a call or that the podcast has stopped playing because of how strangely long they are. It kinda drives me crazy. Other than that I like the podcast and think it’s well done.

Nina has a great voice, and to me this is at least 50 per cent of what is required to make a great podcast. The rest is great research and storytelling - Already Gone tick all these boxes in spades. Great job Nina but please give us back you back catalogue as I can’t get enough!

No thanks. Can’t stand the sound of an ai voice. Technology isn’t their yet.

i used to like this podcast but stopped listening for one reason or another. i started back up recently and the graphic nature of some of these stories about children is really unnecessary especially when there is no warning!! no thank you, pretty inconsiderate.

I liked the cases, but not the voice.

This robotic voice and delivery is painfully annoying. I can’t get past it.
stargazerkismet via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/08/23
The content of the stories are actually interesting, but the delivery ruins it. The voice doesn’t sound human. Considering how horrendous some of the crimes are, there is a total lack of empathy and feeling in the voice.
Poochgrandma via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/03/23
As a previous reviewer said very boring and monotone. And yes, I gave it a try. I listened to 67 1/2 episodes before I finally cried “uncle”.
Nullity via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/15/23
A mediocre podcast with a host who spends inordinate amounts of time making excuses for white criminals and inept police. Meanwhile, non-white suspects and victims get vitriol. Avoid.

The voice sounds like a computer talking to u I tried getting into it cause I love listening to podcasts but the voice instantly was a turn off
dogeisbetterthangabe via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/27/23
Long pauses between sentences and while not totally unpleasant, sounds like they use a computerized voice. Kind of flat

I just discovered this podcast today, after reading an article on the sad case of Gail Webster - and then, of course, jumping into a research rabbit hole. This excellent podcast covers many Michigan crime cases that I remember from growing up in Royal Oak - including the OCCK, when I was the same...Read full review »

Excellent podcast. She includes the facts that often leaves listeners of other podcasts wondering why so much relevant information has been left out.

Too much emphasis on mainstream religion. If I wanted to hear about people in cults, I’d listen to a cult podcast. You shouldn’t put so much emphasis on these terrible parents brainwashing their children from birth, it’s gross

I think your podcast is one of the best. I like your voice and find it nice to listen to you.

This show is a bit creepy, but the idea that anyone would want to hear horrible stories of mothers killing babies “in honor of mothers day” is just sick.
