“There is a lot to like about this pod. Nina has an excellent voice for podcasting. Regardless of genre, she would be pleasing to the ear. She emotes as necessary, giving trigger warnings for content that is more graphic. That said, she shows empathy both to victims and their loved ones. I can contrast this to podcasts I’ve unsubscribed because frankly, the podcasters were distastefully “into” the graphic details. Lastly, the episodes are well researched and well organized so even longer episodes are clear from beginning to end. Nina also posts updates to past cases as needed.
I subscribe to a lot of podcasts with a lot eclectic tastes, but Already Gone is easily my favorite True Crime.”
