Interesting, Well Done
I'm really enjoying Already Gone so far. I like the narrator's voice, the cases seem to be decently researched, and the combination of missing/unsolved cases as well as solved cases is nice. My only suggestions are that the narrator drop the first-person narratives and that the episodes branch out from Michigan related cases. I've always found first-person true crime stories a little annoying. I was bothered by the speculation in the Carol Kresge DeArment episode, which I didn't realize was speculation until later in the episode. I think just sticking to the facts and telling the stories is the best route. Those are the episodes I've enjoyed the most. All in all, this is a very good podcast and has the potential to be very popular. I listen to many true crime podcasts, and I enjoyed this one enough to binge listen to all 10 episodes that are currently available.Read full review »

I always enjoy this podcast, Nina has a lovely soothing voice and she brings a warm empathy to the people involved in these cases. It's obvious she really cares about the victims. Plus it has the best theme music of all the podcasts I listen to.Read full review »

News anchor quality delivery of beautifully recounted cases. An utter delight to listen to-and with some luck, a vehicle to bring closure to relatives of the missing.

Along with Casefile, this is one of my top two favorite podcasts in the true mystery genre. I appreciate the clear reporting and careful editing to include needed info without scratchy 911 audio and yakety yak conversation so many of these types of podcasts employ that just feel like filler. ...Read full review »
