Bring me back
Love the pod. I’m an ‘84 kid and grew up idolizing Junior. Family trips were centred around catching a Mariners or Reds game in Seattle, Minneapolis or Cincinnati. My first Junior game was in August of ‘97 against the White Sox. He was out in the field during BP chatting with a teammate. Jay Buhner was hitting. He skied a ball and it didn’t look like Jr saw it. He had moved or looked up. Las second, without taking a step, he bent forward and snagged the ball behind his back. Greatest thing I ever saw. I remember waiting outside after to try to get an autograph as the players walked back to their car. Joey Cora wheeled Griff out in a giant cardboard box and he popped out once he was passed the people. It was amazing!! Twitter @swervin_mervin Insta @mervbergen

As a USMNT fan, I can’t help but wonder how might Freddy’s career have been different if he had come up through the Man U academy rather than becoming the biggest American soccer star before he...Read full review »
