Work to do
The Spectator's podcasts are all a bit 'meh'. CHurned out without much thought and Americano, after a promising start is little better. The anti-Trump stuff is becoming tedious because it so obviously ignores the facts that can be seen clear as day. The latest contribution from Jacob Heilbrunn was beyond laughable, and even Freddy Gray had to keep pulling him back on facts around Biden. Heilbrunn amazingly doesn't seem to think Biden is in cognitive decline, cannot see the liabilities inherent in a Harris pick for VP, and ignores the polling that shows Trump's gains. Harris' record as SF DA and California AG is horrible, and Trump would have a field day given his record on Criminal Justice reform. I listen to a lot of US political content and this is as off-beam as any. Americano really has some work to do.Read full review »

I like this pod a lot as an ongoing investigation into America politics and culture with a wide variety of related and interesting people, subjects and ideas. Artfully explored with an appropriate dose of humour. Thanks for producing and providing.
