I absolutely love this podcast! It’s so informative, so inspiring and Ross, the host, sound like the sweetest human with the most thoughtful questions coming from a place of knowledge and experience. Thank you! I read a few mean reviews on here with one star and am shocked and think maybe this...Read full review »

The guests that are on this show are interesting, but the host could really improve at actually hosting. He asks incredibly leading questions, not giving the guests much space for their responses. Sometimes it’s like he didn’t prepare so his questions are rambling. With young women artists...Read full review »

Love this show! Aren’t we due for a new episode? It’s been over two weeks since the last show. Give the people what they want!

Good podcast with insightful content. However, I counted the word “like” 59 times in the first 5:25 of the latest episode. Is this, like, how people, like, talk, like, when they have, like, something to, like, say?

Can we get a clean version of this podcast suitable for students and younger kids? Would be really educational for music students, but without explicit language

I’m not in he music industry, but I am a music fanatic. Hearing the stories behind the songs and artists I love keeps me coming back each week. Ross also introduces me to new artists and sounds I haven’t explored before! Love it, love the new And The Demo is feature every few weeks!

I’m always looking to grow and, in this case, want to expand upon my songwriting skills and role. I’m in a successful band but am certainly not the primary writer-not even close. However, it is something I’ve done in past bands and loved the feeling of creating new music. During this extended...Read full review »

I’ve never reviewed a podcast before but felt compelled to in this case because this one is such an annoying failure. One would think a podcast such as this would be hard to screw up, but that’s exactly what the host manages to do. It’s hard to chose what element is more grating: his annoying...Read full review »

Love the podcast - always insightful. I especially loved the demo feedback episodes- so much so that I wanted more! Could you do a sister podcast of sorts where you give demo feedback exclusively?

To realize these brilliant writers/artists are just as human as the rest of us by way of candid and vulnerable conversation is the best gift of inspiration for those of us who may be still insecure and uncertain of our voice. Thank you.

Guys if you don’t like Trump it does not mean that singers for whom you are writing songs do not like him. Many people just don’t tell you that they support him. Just getting into this podcast. Really good stuff and inspiring. But I don’t see any urban/hip hop writers like Hitmaka, Ty Dolla Sign, Jeremiah, Starrah, Oak Felder, Pop Wansel, PartyNextDoor, The-Dream.
