Give it a shot if you are not a scullion, rampallian, or fustilarian
Arden is a hilarious thoughtful podcast that encapsulates everything I love about true-crime and, being fictional, avoids everything that I hate and/or critiques it within the narrative of the show. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, the narrative is interesting, and the sound design is excellent.I would recommend this podcast for anyone who likes true crime, podcasts with similar humor to the Amelia Project, Shakespeare, and mysteries. The only think that I dislike about the show is that I was talking about it with my roommate and she called me out for not recognizing the Shakespeare parallels during my first listen, which made me feel like a knotty-pated fool if there ever was one. A real loggerhead, heedless jolt-head if there ever was one. (My family got me a Shakespearean insult poster for Christmas that I am using to write this review.)

Volume needed to hear the dialogue is so high that then when the characters yell or otherwise get loud it actually hurts. You turn it down as fast as you can and then miss important dialogue...Read full review »
