A truly excellent sci-fi serial drama
I didn't like this podcast at first. I told myself 'no. This won't work.' I don't like the main character. I don't like the voice actor. I don't like the concept. I pushed through it only because I was bored and craving more serial fictional podcasts in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Man, was I wrong. By episode 4, my doubts were had dissipated and by episode 10 I was obsessed. Now, I love the main character. I love the voice actor behind her. I love the concept. I find myself looking forward to each episode eagerly awaiting the conclusion to plotlines in which I've become whole-heartedly invested. Ars can be dark, funny, engaging, thought-provoking and entertaining all at once. If it seems a little shakey for the first few episode, push through. The payoff is so worth it.Read full review »

My only criticism is the lack of diversity, which is common for most historical works. The second season has already made stellar steps for representation,...Read full review »
