Love it !
I love listening to Art Attack with Lizy Dastin and Justin BUA. You would think it'd be hard to fully appreciate visual art through a podcast when you don't always have an image of the piece in front of you, but the hosts do a good job of describing the pieces, and it can also be an interesting experience learning all about the socio-historical context and layered meanings of a piece before actually seeing it. The podcast's description of being "engaging, informed, accessible and raw" is spot-on! Lizy Dastin and Justin BUA complement each other in their backgrounds and personality, and it's fun to listen to them banter and challenge each other. I learn so much from each episode, and I greatly appreciate that this podcast approaches art from various perspectives, not just through the traditional white male lens that’s often offered in school. This podcast is edgy; taking on diverse and sometimes taboo topics, leaving you with a lot to think about and talk about with your fellow art-loving friends.Read full review »
