Love the Passion and Diverse Opinions of Lizy & Justin
When I first started listening to art-related podcasts, I focused on The Lonely Palette and ArtCurious; while I still love each of them, they miss one key element: a diversity of opinion. To me, that is so important in reviewing art as it relieves the pressure of feeling like you have to love an artist or artwork. Lizy and Justin often have different opinions but respect each other's points of view and have a great chemistry on the mic; it translates into something incredible. They've brought my attention and admiration to so many other artists I wasn't previously familiar with, and although sometimes they go on tangents, it is great to hear from two people not going off a script who have such a passion for what they do. I've loved so many episodes, but if I have to pick one, it would be Icons of the Night. This episode really helped me understand the importance of knowing the history behind a work (what was taking place in 1942) when looking at art (Hopper's Nighthawks). Now that you've covered Schiele, I'd love to one day hear a Caspar David Friedrich episode :)!Read full review »

More reviews of Art Attack w/ Lizy Dastin and Justin BUA
I like the show because it doesn't just present facts but more importantly views from the wider and personal perspectives which are equally crucial in learning about the subjects.Read full review »

I religiously listen to Justin and Lizy’s podcast as soon as it comes out. Although I may know the artists they talk about, I always end up learning something new and exciting. Great stuff, keep up the good work!
