Turn on your inner journalist
I really do enjoy listening to your podcast. Your guests are interesting and you cover good topics from an Asian American perspective which I like even though I'm Asian Canadian. We're similar but different. You might want to explore that sometimes. Your podcast provides a safe space for conversations that other Asian American podcasts can't quite cover. I just have a note for Frank: I know that you have the best intentions, but you really need to stop relating your personal story to that of every one of your guests. You lose your objectivity and undermine your credability. It also puts Jen in an awkward spot because now she needs to either interview you too or ignore what you said. Listening to the guests is like taking to my sister if we talked about being Asian instead of the weird things our mom does. Which may constitute talking about being Asian. Also—greatest Asian athlete and you didn’t name tiger woods? I mean, I hate golf, but come on!!
