“I appreciate the hosts bringing attention to issues within the Asian American community such as discrimination in light of COVID-19. I don't always relate, and do wonder at the ending part where folks share moments in which they didn't feel "Asian enough" because this seems to promote Asian stereotypes or expectations, in a way, which one naturally wants to gravitate away from. Overall, though, I am grateful for the existence of this podcast and to the LA Times. As John Cho says, being Asian American isn't necessarily the first or even sixth way us folks identify, so hopefully this brings to light the huge range of experiences in the Asian American community.”Read full review »
