Why
I love this podcast. I hate this podcast. I discovered this podcast by accident last week while I was searching for audio entertainment to fill my time during a long carride to a state park where I was to camp. I enjoy the podcast Lore. Therefore, I thought that this one would be right up my alley. I was correct. I enjoyed both the Spring Heeled Jack and the Queen Mary one on my way to the camp ground. I patted myself on the back for finding such an entertaining and rivoting podcasdt! My mind changed later that night. As I was having trouble sleeping, I decided to listen to one more Astoning Legends. I thought I made a great choice.... Then a bad choice as "Are We Ever Alone" continued in its narrative. The silly, fun sound effects which had caused me to blow a puff of air out of my nose in enjoyment now set me on edge. I became scanning the campground for stargoo and fervently tried to remember how easily fire had started earlier that day. Were there spirits demanding us to go? Was our water source accessable? Didn't I stumble on the way to it, did that mean something was tellimg me to go? My whole time since my arrival at the camp ground came under scrutiny as I attempt to ascern if spirits had been involved during any point. And as the story drew to a close, I methodically mapped my way back to the parking lot, ready for anything. Needless to say, I did not sleep well that night. I hate this podcast. I love this podcast.Read full review »

Don't be put off by the skull-like logo. This Podcast is actually more thoughtful than this cliched image suggests. Various mysteries are discussed with intelligence and gentle humour. Constantly improving. Love it.Read full review »

This podcast was a bit of a surprise for me. Unlike most amateur podcasts, this one has a quality that seems up to par with NPR. The content itself is no where near as ridiculous as some other podcasts with a similar premise. Quality podcast content should be promoted.

This is the first review I've ever written on iTunes, and this podcast is well deserving of it. I look forward to your show every other week. When I first discovered it, I listened to every episode in a few days and hate having to wait for a new one! If I had one criticism, it would be the...Read full review »
