On 24th September 2023, James Muhia and Cheruiyot Kirui made history by becoming the first Kenyans & Africans, to summit an 8,000m mountain without using supplemental oxygen and also without using Sherpa support. They successfully climbed Manaslu (8,163m), the 8th highest mountain in the world. In this episode, Muhia talks about the Manaslu climb.

Wang'oe Mtuhuru aka, Freeman, is an Ultra Runner and Trail Runner. He accomplished one of the toughest mountain challenges in Africa that is, The Virunga Challenge. He ran up and down 3 Virunga Mountains (Mount Muhabura, Mount Gahinga and Mount Sabyinyo) all in just 11 hours and 23 minutes. A total distance of 42KM and a 4,000m elevation gain. Sibusiso Vilane is an accomplished South African mountaineer and motivational speaker. He became the first black person to summit Mount Everest on 26th May 2003. Other notable achievements: The 7 Summits, North & South Pole Expeditions, the Matterhorn, Eiger and Mont Blanc. He is also the author of the book, "To The Top From Nowhere".
