“One of the best true crime podcasts in a large field of competitors.
"Bad Women" stands out because of its compelling story telling, evocative sound design and concentration on the victim's stories.
It is obvious there is much finessing behind-the-scenes work that goes into "Bad Women", but it does not sound belaboured.
At times arch and witty, and at times startling, the dialogue recreations and commentary makes for enjoyable listening, like the aural equivalent of a "page turner".
