I really like Emma’s podcast, the cases are covered well and empathetically to the victims and their families. I’m currently catching up having only started listening in November. The only thing that detracts for me is the unnecessary accents and (occasional) religious talk. It’s just not my...Read full review »

I enjoyed this at the start but the over the top personal opinion, fake scenarios, bad accents, and talk of religion is spoiling it. Struggling to take Emma seriously as a professional when she comes across extremely judgmental and arrogant.

I love listening to podcasts but often get bored of listening to dry facts by a dry narrator, however, I find a very warm person in Emma, she is obviously very knowledgeable but doesn’t shove that down your throat. She is very invested in the subject matter and brings the stories and characters...Read full review »

Think this could be a good podcast. Unfortunately the overly wordy delivery (take a breath!) and pointless asides and self opinions is quite off putting. I will keep trying to see if it improves, but unless Emma just sticks to the facts I’m not sure it’ll be for me

I’ve been searching for AGES for a decent uk voiced true crime podcast to listen to whilst I go about household stuff or work out at the gym. Most of them are a bit gimmicky - I don’t necessarily want to know ‘fun facts’ about the location of a crime, and some people really do not have the...Read full review »

I listen to 1-2 podcasts a day, 5days a week, while at work (I’m a delivery driver for Mozzas) I honestly feel like you’re my little mate now, we spend so much time together! 😆 You truly make working full time far more enjoyable, so thank you! I love how you tell these stories and at times go on...Read full review »

Good facts and analyses well told. Infact, she's a wonderful story teller, entertaining and personable if a bit blood thirsty. The ads, however, are horrendous. They break in in the middle of words, are loud and often repeated many times - the same ad three, four, five times in a row - and...Read full review »

I love the bits where you are having a conversation with yourself, I think the theatrical parts can be welcoming sometimes as it makes it a little lighter to listen to some of stories or we would all be having nightmares by now, I really enjoy your videos on YouTube and your shows I’ve seen...Read full review »

Great stories, great insight and investigation. But unfortunately the unnecessary theatrics and sarcasm are off putting and belittling to the stories being told. This is serious stuff not to be laughed at or made fun of

Over the top and very theatrical in her commentary. Very off putting. Puts too much of her feelings and narrative into the story and the victims. Embellishes the story too much. Should stick to actual facts and not padding the stories out with unnecessary info.

I listened to my first episode on Kaitlyn Conley, While I appreciate a thought provoking true crime story, it shouldn’t come at the expense of false information. How about the basics like US courts don’t allow lie detector tests as evidence? Or that zero evidence exists of Bill Yoder starting a...Read full review »

Emma, you’ve gone over the top now with your commentary. Stick to the facts and your explanations of the psychology. You’ve become prone to rambling and hyperbole. Also, get some voice training and stop the vocal fry before you damage your vocal chords.

Very interesting however it’s a podcast you really need to focus on as it’s very psychology based and opinion based rather than just the facts of the story. I really need to be in the zone to get through a whole episode. There are some great cases I haven’t heard of before.

Love the podcast and Emmas way of telling these stories. I would love some heads up in the episodes where child abuse is described in detail. There’s way too much personal interjection and names are often wrong, for example- Sebastian Kalinowski, not Malinowski and reference to Arthur Lambinjo-Hughes and Arthur Lambinjo-Jones. Not doing any justice for the victims by not using their correct names.
