Genuine and engaged
I love listening to podcasts but often get bored of listening to dry facts by a dry narrator, however, I find a very warm person in Emma, she is obviously very knowledgeable but doesn’t shove that down your throat. She is very invested in the subject matter and brings the stories and characters under discussion alive with her insight and and understanding of human nature. She also has a rare quality of humility as she is obviously affected by the crimes she discusses and lets her guard down very often to express her own feelings and anger towards the evil acts she is relating to her audience. She has unbridled enthusiasm which is always contagious with any subject matter and it has worked with me as I wouldn’t listen to anyone else now because I’m hooked. Would highly recommend her as she is a mum first and psychologist second, and that is a genuinely rare quality that comes right through this podcast.

I really like Emma’s podcast, the cases are covered well and empathetically to the victims and their families. I’m currently catching up having only started listening in November. The only thing that detracts for me is the unnecessary accents and (occasional) religious talk. It’s just not my...Read full review »
