What is with the ludicrous, badly-paced background music? It jolts in and out, abruptly changes and doesn’t in way match match what is being discussed. Have the people who make this never heard a podcast? This is so amateurish it’s risible.

Very well produced, great speakers and guests and great content and topics but far too short. I would expect at least 40 mins per episode. Thats about standard these days for political analysis in podcast land. Also Ursula Savage is hard to listen to. Such a grating voice. Find guests who can...Read full review »

This is a very interesting and varied podcast - offering a range of discussions and respective from topical Northern Ireland news stories to historical events. I really like Ciaran’s interviewing style and the range of guests he brings to add colour to the discussions.

Stick to unbiased journalism instead of your opinions on certain topics. Your guests on the Dan wonton and Laurence fox episode were very one sided at least get one from each side and have a debate on what was said rather than personal opinions.

Excellent discussion , which counter intuitively for me, was nuanced reflective and revealing from a man whom I thot might not be capable of, given his background…never make assumptions no matter what you think you know… Well done Sam, more of this …

Problematic podcast with the main presenters exhibiting significant bias. Any journalist that chooses to not use factual information and instead introduce opinion as fact is never going to be able to report objectively on Northern Ireland matters. Inherent to the reporting Allison Morris offers...Read full review »

I visited Northern Ireland in the summer of 2022 and I found the people there very friendly & hospitable. I wanted to know more about the place. With all that is happening on the islands of Britain & Ireland, this podcast is slowly filling in my gaps of ignorance of the poor,...Read full review »
