Am really disappointed they stopped making this, but glad to have the catalog accessible. Some of these are real gems:)

I feel a great loss that in this topsy-turvy world the BBC seems to have pulled the plug on these interesting and grounding natural history programmes…please amongst the welter of poor programs on the schedules bring these flagship studies back

I’m not normally a complainer, especially when it comes to BBC programming, but I’m almost certain I’m amoung the few who have called attention to this issue.

This is the greatest podcast for nature appreciation. Unfortunately it stopped working months ago on IPhones. I miss it. Nature needs all the appreciation she can get. Please fix!

I would so love to be able to listen to the new episodes, but unfortunately everything after the Planet Puffin series (which was fantastic) will not play on Apple Podcast. Please remedy, for the sake of the iPhone owners across the pond who need us some BBC nature!

I am finally unsubscribing to this otherwise excellent podcast because the BBC can’t seem to make it work on iTunes/Apple Podcasts. About half the time, a new episode will appear, and I’ll get excited. However, when I try to download or stream it, it gives a “unable to download” and “temporarily...Read full review »

Apart from the interest of the descriptions and discussions of the natural world, its marvellous atmospheres make the series a delight - as well as an escape from the often noisy, messy human world.

Have just started listening but it’s quickly become my favourite podcast. Covering a wide variety of flora and fauna, it never fails to disappoint with its ‘boots in the mud’ reporting. Highly recommended.

Superb series from the BBC but why no more new episodes, it’s currently “from the archives” for the last year so.

This is a fantastic podcast with some great natural history broadcasting. Shame that Living World, Nature and Shared Planet seem to have disappeared from BBC Radio 4. Wonder if they are no longer being made?

This series is superb on all fronts. Great stories, excellent production. Radio at it's finest. If you are a fan of natural history, this series of ~200 podcast is a real treat. Reminds one of how good radio can be, and how bad most TV has become...Read full review »

This is a brilliant podcast that addresses significant issues in ecology, natural history, evolutionary biology, and nature preservation. It is also just the slightest bit dotty. It did really once broadcast from inside a yew tree. The show was about commensual living and the fungi that helped...Read full review »

Please bring back Lionel. I very much enjoy listening to his enthusiasm while he is in the wilderness. He makes listening to nature a fun part of my commute to work. Maybe send him to Norfolk too. It's not the scottish highlands but it has nature too - even has yew trees at Blickling Hall.Read full review »

I love hearing scientists in the field exploring nature. Not being there myself just makes me angry. At least I have this podcast for now.

I have and always will listen to the superb Living World progs. A friend of mine is often featured in the Devon ones. I must state that it really frustrates me when on occasions you fail to release one or two of the progs as a podcast. Please can you always release them?

Although I do enjoy the other series that are included in this podcast - the outstanding one is the Living World - please can this be the programme featured whenever it is on air.

I also loved this podcast. It was good at sharing information about the natural world and the enthusiasm of the presenters and experts was palpable. It also had a bit of a 'soap opera' quality in terms of the regular updates of the adventures of our migrating friends, but that's...Read full review »

Although I do enjoy the "World on the Move" programme I really miss Lionel Kelleway's enthusiastic delivery of "The Living World". Please bring this brilliant little podcast back. It is just the tonic for Monday morning blues.Read full review »

This first show just demonstrates how good professionally produced podcasts can be, the sound of the dawn chorus alone was worth the download, and also shows us an interesting idea to help children recover at Alder Hay Hospital. Keep it up BBC
