“An absolute must for film fans. I love the scene setting and context for each film/year; the research for each episode must have been enormous. I couldn’t disagree more with some previous reviews claiming that all three presenters share the same opinions, that’s very clearly not the case. They share values, and point out where values and ideals have changed since the films were made, which is frankly essential in our divisive world. I’ll admit I’ve revisited many episodes and enjoyed them every time, and I’m so glad it’s continuing even though all best picture winners have now been covered.”
