A sigh of relief
Learning about the betrayal model of recovery has been an eye opening piece of the puzzle. It explains so much. Learning about the symptoms, and the approaches of how to deal with things from this standpoint, really have made a difference for me. I appreciated 12 step groups and found good support through them, however I began to feel “stuck” in trying to work through recovery with them. So thankful for this podcast, and the model it follows!
