I love Heather and her research is top tier! One of my favorite podcasts to get me through my week! I love the deep dives she does! 10/10 recommend!

Heather is great. She’s empathetic, the crimes are well-researched, her voice is pleasant, and she roasts the bad guys. Heather Ashley…more like Treasure Ashley amiright? Updated to add that I love the snowflakes losing their minds over her opinions, even though they’re the same people who...Read full review »

I listen to several! This is my favorite because she is so compassionate for the victims and does not judge their stories. I love the end of her show when she lets loose and gives her personal thoughts. Never change Heather Ashley!

Sad that Heather went down the path of ranting about her political views, personally I find podcasts a great way of escaping every day life and Heather told the stories well, always enjoyed, but then the political rants started, same on you.

This was one of my favorite pods until politics were thrown in the mix.

This was my go to pod cast for a long time…. Years. I paid for the subscriptions for years.. I just canceled them all. I was disgusted by her tasteless way of going on social media and putting down people for having different political views than her. It opened my eyes to how close minded and...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to BMTC for years now and it still remains my favorite, my husband will even listen with me and he isn’t into podcasts. Heather is a true victims advocate, telling their story. Her anger at the criminal and sometimes the system that has allowed the criminal to be free to commit...Read full review »

Not even on my list of “I guess there’s nothing else so I’ll play this.” She’s immature, thinks she’s funny when in reality she’s tacky and her podcast goes without research aside from google. You have made it wildly known that you don’t welcome those with differences of opinion - clearly you are...Read full review »

She calls herself a “violent crime intelligence & reduction specialist”… she does a crime podcast in which she does NONE of her own research. She states in the Q&A that she doesn’t do any FOIA requests, she sources all her info from Google and news articles that someone else researched...Read full review »

We get it! You’re edgy.. stop trying so hard to be cool, funny and changing your voice all the time. This pod was in my top 3 for years but now it’s super cringy and hard to listen to.

You drew me in with “Big Mad” and kept me with Heather Ashley! That’s my name, too! I look forward to some great listening! Thank you!

I love listening to Heather and her ‘Hot Takes’!! She is literally the best friend that is obsessed with true crime like we all are! I love the way she “shames” the perpetrator's by saying “allegedly” (IYKYK… only Heather can say it in this way…!), and “No ma’am… just no…” and every time she...Read full review »

Your points and views can be perfectly made without all the cursing, I find it childish and misinformed.

I love, love, love this show!! Heather is the friend in my head we all need, and she makes the story feel relatable and presents the facts of the case in a way which makes it easy and clear to follow. My new go to when I want a true crime fix.

I enjoy listening to your show every single day. On my way to work and while I am at work. I see you as literally my virtual bestie. Keep doing what your doing and continue to share these stories of those who’s voices we can no longer hear. You are amazing !!!

Love the unscripted/ you’re so good they sound scripted!!!
JulesHarpy via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/18/24
The unscripted shows are awesome! You don’t need to spend your days writing scripts. Your on the fly storytelling and humor are better than you realize. You’re just as good, if not better, rested and relaxed.
babadukeruss via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/17/24
I have listened since the beginning and had to stop and say I love the unscripted episodes! It was like just talking to a friend!

She’s a good podcaster but I don’t know why she had to curse so much. I know I don’t have to listen and I stopped and will stop again. Just sad

I am a true true crime fan. Watch the usual shows; dateline, 48 hours, and tons of Investigation Discovery. Although I have seen many of your stories on these and other shows, I love listening to your no nonsense, no holding back, no small talk take on the stories. There are times when, although...Read full review »

Heather, you are a fantastic storyteller. I love your voice and style, but my favorite has to be the hot take. Keep it up Heather and I would love it if all your podcasts were in this new style. One of the things I love about your podcast is your ability to make me feel like we are girlfriends talking over coffee. This just makes it more so🫶🏻

I was trying to find a true crime podcast that didn’t involve politics…and I found this show! I love how the host gets right into it and doesn’t involve involve her political opinions. I really like your new format where you tell the story without a script. You are well prepared and it shows. You would sound just as good without using so much profanity I find it distracting.

I recently discovered this podcast. Not many hosts can make you snort laugh when listening to the details of a horrific murder. Heather does, while also doing a really good job of covering the case.

I like the podcast. The host has personality but she interjects her extreme personal opinions into the storytelling about true crime. She is quick to jump to black and white conclusions the people in the stories.

So let’s dive in. This is by far my favorite podcast. Heather is thoughtful, funny, and passionate about the people she tells us about. While the content of these podcasts often delves into intriguing topics, the overwhelming number of ads significantly detracts from the listening experience. The podcasts have a good pace and professional presentation, then she tries way too hard to sound mad, I guess, and inserts a clumsy, pointless F bomb and sounds totally amateurish.
