Great topic but lousy humor
I love the topic of SETI, but the humor gets really tiresome. The hosts of the podcast banter back and forth, obviously reading from a script, with jokes that almost sound like a parody of nerdy humor. It's sort of like the type of lowbrow talk show that music radio stations like to play in the morning, except this show actually has a topic. The topic is interesting, and the morning zoo routine completely gets in the way. The producers of this show should divide it into two separate shows: a morning "zoo" and a serious podcast about SETI.Read full review »

While their jokes can make you roll your eyes, Molly and Dr. Seth Shostak cover many different topics, usually related to life (either in the cosmos or in your backyard). They also cover various other topics on the universe like blackholes and doomsday.Read full review »
