Entertaining science without academic pretense - For everybody from store clerk to Nobel Laureate!
Seth and Molly have created an engaging, entertaining and broadly accessible platform to discuss science, including issues directly or peripherally related to SETI. What I find inspiring is the matter of fact plain language used to cover topics of keen interest to anyone with even a slight curiosity about the universe. There is no intellectual snobbery on this show, the moderators (Seth and Molly) create a show every week that has exciting and informative content for anyone - from the grocery store clerk to the Nobel Laureate. I believe the philosophy of the show draws on the inspired legacy of Carl Sagan with science being 'of and for all of us' -- not just a cloistered circle of academic elitists speaking a jibber-jabber language of exclusionary Jargon. If science could be taught in our public schools by folks like Seth and Molly we'd have a much stronger, smarter and innovative nation. Kudos to one of the best podcasts on Itunes! Only suggestions - It would be great to hear a bit more about work being done at the Allen Array and we'd love to hear Jill Tarter on the show a bit more to provide such updates.Read full review »

I was blown away by how good this podcast is - I stayed up listening to episode after episode until it was so late it was starting to get light. That these guys can produce something of this quality, regularly and for free is astonishing, and makes me very happy :)
