I feel seen!
As a donor conceived person I can’t relate to every person’s story but that’s almost more amazing than if I could. I never saw myself and my family situation in media growing up—and still don’t really see it today! Hearing how other donor conceived people are conceptualizing their journey and how their experiences have been, although they may differ from my own, makes me feel so seen. Thank you for creating a space where we are able to be complex and curious people and not a gift for our parents, forever expected to to be just grateful for existing rather than real people by our parents and the public.
