Social Workers Unite !
As a social worker going through The process of gaining experience while on the path to licensure, this podcast has been a breath of fresh air. This process is extremely uncomfortable. Through listening to Nakita sharing her story she has brought normalization, hope and motivation. I love the content, and I enjoy the perspective from a therapist. Thank you for holding space for healers, and just sharing realistic issues. I find this podcast unique because it actually gives social workers and mental health professionals whom are passionate about what they do, a voice. As mentioned in one of the podcasts, the field of social worker is frequented by black woman, yet often under compensated and devalued. I see this podcast as revolutionary and an act of justice. It's so necessary to be represented. Looking forward to more episodes . Peace!Read full review »
