Brilliant so far
A rare and thoughtful account of how police investigators fail survivors. I have been waiting years for a journalist to have this kind of access to people and police records. I can finally say, “Oh my god, that’s what police did in my case, too!” I am two episodes in and a little afraid there will be a twist in the story that makes this podcast less resonant and less comforting. But I love the host so far ❤️ A hard listen at times, but SO worth it!

So far a great show. It’s incredibly hard to find true crime that isn’t bootlicking and blaming the victim. To the person who said this show is “left-leaning”… I’m sorry what are you even talking about. The person who’s taking the side of the abuser… shame on you. Listen to this podcast.

This podcast is very well researched, reported, and produced. The story is so heartbreaking and hard to listen to. The police officer that is interviewed thought the story is so obviously biased and racist it’s infuriating. An important story to listen to and get out.

Such a compelling trailer - I usually can’t take heavy stuff, but Lemonada shows always find a way to tell these stories in a way that makes you believe in humanity (if not the justice system…)
