Brilliant so far
A rare and thoughtful account of how police investigators fail survivors. I have been waiting years for a journalist to have this kind of access to people and police records. I can finally say, “Oh my god, that’s what police did in my case, too!” I am two episodes in and a little afraid there will be a twist in the story that makes this podcast less resonant and less comforting. But I love the host so far ❤️ A hard listen at times, but SO worth it!

I found this podcast enlightening and intriguing until the host made generalizations that law enforcement officers are quick to use brutal force against black men but not white men. Your reporting of this tragic story are so superior to most newsfeeds. You have covered everything and most importantly the racial biased, and male dominated southern justice system.
