Comes off as a love letter to man haters
Let’s forget the man is the story is dead shot by his girlfriend (our heroine of the story) and is no longer here to defend himself. It describes a young woman who has made many mistakes none her fault the narrator makes sure to assign blame to parents, boyfriends, circumstances, police ect but conveniently leave out the person who is you know actually making the decisions. Basically we have a chick who is used to living a nice life with nice things but is attracted to dirtbags she leaves her life In the city to move out in the boondocks and is surprised that hey my criminal boyfriend lied to me and we’re living in a trash trailer without plumbing I mean who could have foreseen this? She gets in a big fight with her boyfriend and kills him but it’s definitely not her fault right?
