“I was so looking forward to this because this is my favourite book by my favourite author.
I found both people to be very annoying with their incessant giggling and ADD topic shifting. Even the supposed SK fan seems to have missed out a lot even after 5 readings. Yes, the clothes from the 80's seem dated and no they didn't have great special effects. Spoiler Alert: Things from this decade will seem dated before too long. Good writing won't. The Stand is an amazing story about humans persevering in the face of a challenge they were unprepared for. Will it remind them of the good in them or awaken their darker side?
