Thank you, as a minimum this is an incredibly vast catalogue of late 20th/early 21st century boxing with a variety of characters and stories. This podcast goes well beyond that though, it is not just the boxers, but the journalists, commentators, photographers, promotors, ring builders (even...Read full review »

Great listening to your interview with Jamie. Saw him box at Bracknell against Jonny Phillips. Hadn’t heard of him before but remember being so impressed with his boxing skills. Needless to say he lost and I went home so angry with the decision. Followed his career and really enjoyed the pod👌🥊

You can tell how respected Tris is by the way stoic fighters open up to him. He never panders and asks great (often tough) questions that provoke interesting answers. I listen to a number of boxing podcasts regularly, they’re all good in one way or another but this one really stands out. Wow. The last 45 mins absolutely blew my mind. Not great surprise hearing the stories about Warren & Hearn either. Neither better than Don King stepping over his own unconscious fighters, to sign up the other fighter stood in the opposite corner.
