I'm so excited about this podcast. I've been listening to Revisionist History (by Malcolm Gladwell) for all three seasons now—season three just ended—and Broken Record looks to be right up the alley for detail-obsessed music nerds. An paired with none other than Rick Rubin himself? I'm too pumped. For those who reviewed one star complaining that the project was "abandoned"—do some research and you'd learn that Malcolm Gladwell (and team) have been busy doing years and years of research and investigation for their first podcast, Revisionist History. Along the way, they must have compiled so much music-related content that the idea for a podcast like Broken Record began to surface. Be patient.
