“This is a great podcast (so far), but sad to see it sitting behind such an expensive paywall.
I agree with other reviewers that urge the Australian to develop an affordable podcast subscription service. Stories like this need to reach a wide audience in order to achieve meaningful change. The victims & their loved ones deserve this, & are promised as much by the host.
The current subscription model also requires the listener to face a moral dilemma. Whilst I want to fund this specific podcast (and others like it), I have no interest in supporting the damaging right wing propaganda that the Australian calls ‘news’, which includes pushing hateful narratives about minorities- including women- which contribute to the normalisation of domestic violence in society.”
