Season Heartbreak begins today with the beginning of a love story (not).

To give you a taste of what the upcoming Season Heartbreak will feel like, here's a story adapted and translated from one of the episodes of "the stories i wish you heard" - a fellow BUNK Collective podcast.

This is an experiment I've always wanted to do since the beginning of this podcast. I tried my best but the audio is quite underwhelming haha Anyway, my only wish is that you also get a good night sleep tonight. Sweet dreams :)

Today, we're changing the tone a bit. The past weeks' episodes were all about me trying to comfort you all (and myself) because the world is already having too much of hustle culture and I thought we all deserve some slack. Although I'm still not going to ask you to try harder or force yourself to achieve your goals, today's theme is about aiming for 100% and giving your 100%. I think I gave my 100% in today's episode, so I hope you also listen 100% :) Only if you can! But most of all, I wish...

Two weeks ago, I said completing something is more important than perfecting it. In today's episode, however, I'd like to remind you (and myself) that we don't have to force ourselves to finish things we don't really have to. We can stop midway and call it the end for whatever it is. The finish line is wherever you decide it to be - I wish I said this in the recording. Anyway, I'm telling you here. Do you consider yourself a perfectionist? As for me, I sometimes do and it really makes me feel terrible when I make mistakes. Despite this, I am training myself to have the mindset of pursuing completion first, embracing imperfection, and working towards improvement latter. To some, it might sound as a cliché, but I am certain there are people (like me) who needs to be reminded that most of the time done is better than perfect.

What if you lose the vigor to do the things you are doing right now? What if you're too close to getting burnt out? Is it okay to rest and stop for a while? I encourage you to allow yourself to take a breather. And when you do, remember that whenever you're ready, you can always start again.

Nowadays we easily get stressed from all the places you can think of. What do you do when you encounter situations that are frustrating? Or when unfavorable events happen, how do you conduct yourself? In the past, I'd also easily get frustrated. But there's one thing I didn't expect I'd get from a Korean drama - a way to make myself at ease and be present in the moment. Perhaps, you'll also find it useful.

You've waited long for this come back and so did I. I believe it's worth the wait. Here's to more stories and more words of encouragement, inspiration, and wisdom to all of us! I'm looking forward to a much longer and a more meaningful journey with all of you. But first, let's all identify ourselves as the heroes of our own lives.

Some of you might be wondering and are worried why you haven't heard from me for about two months now so I decided to record this 안부 인사 to assure you that I'm still alive and that this podcast will return to its regular programming with a new direction. Thank you for your patience and you'll hear from me again SOON.

I have been running this podcast for 64 weeks now without getting a break. I'll be taking the next three weeks off and I'll see you again in November.

The past three episodes were mostly about my past travels. Today, I just thought I'd share where I'd like to go once it's safe to travel and travel restrictions are lifted. I have two places in mind. What about you? Anyway, I wish you all a good night and hopefully we can all travel to all our favorite places in our dreams. ^^
