“I grew up in the 80s watching this show, often with my grandmother, and have always come back to it as a weird sort of comfort (I mean, it is murder) when I get really stressed or things get a bit too hectic. So it was such a joy to find this podcast. I tried a couple other Murder, She Wrote podcasts but the snark/sarcasm (perhaps a general lack of understanding of life in the 80s? Oh that hair! That wallpaper!) just wasn't what I was looking for. Now, make no mistake, I can snark and be sarcastic with the best of them - a couple of my favorite podcasts are Again With This: Beverly Hills, 90210 & Melrose Place; those are definitely snark-worthy shows. But I suppose I feel a bit possessive of Murder, She Wrote. So this podcast is the perfect fit. The hosts are a married couple whose chemistry is delightful, and observations are fun and often amusing (there was a particuarly amusing line from Jennie to Damien about metal detectors, which kind of eludes me at the moment, but just made me laugh out loud. At work.) In any case, if you are a person who enjoys this TV show, you should definitely enjoy this podcast. The breakdowns of each episode are great; I haven't actually been able to watch many episodes recently, but I can remember many of them by the way the hosts go through each episode, and it's a lot like watching them all over again (just without getting the viewing pleasure of the mullets).
