Great Accompaniment to Viewers New to the Series
This podcast is great for the viewer of the show who has little to no knowledge of the book series. The casters do a great job of summarizing the key plot happenings of the episodes and draw comparisons to what happens in the book. It's clear they have camaraderie and chemistry, which does allow them to go off on slight tangents, but when discussing a series like this, you don't want to take yourselves to seriously in the first place. I think it they've really gotten their bearings when it comes to organizing the segments of the show their format. SOME constructive ideas: It would be great to have more discussions about the performances of the actors and the choices in performance that they make, since film and television is such a different medium than print. Examinations of aspects of the series like set design/costuming/casting would probably be great while we wait for season 2. Also maybe, without spoiling, they could make casting guesses about upcoming characters from the next season. Anyway, great podcast to listen to!Read full review »

Amazing podcast. Pulling off something like this, when so many of us are passionate about the book(s), the show, the background, and even the genre, ain't easy. These guys show they're true fans of the craft first.Read full review »

This is a great Game of Throne postgame show. The hosts are alway funny and appropriately geeky at times. They also offer pretty good insight from the perspective of someone familar with the books without spoiling the plot. Great Show!
