“Disclaimer: Okay. So my original review for this podcast didn't post so I submitted a second to check whether there was a glitch preventing me from posting. Foolishly, I called it "test"...so yes, I’m the original weirdo who submitted the first "test" review. /disclaimer.

Anyway....what I originally meant to say was this: the CoT podcast is one of the best I've listened to in a very long time. The gents and lady have accomplished a podcast rarity: a smart & fun PC that's accessible to both the book series readers and watchers of the TV series. Whereas many PCs are guilty of episode regurgitation - the CoT peeps dissect each episode with commentary that is well beyond simple rehash.
I rarely laugh aloud when listening to PCs - but I *always* laugh during each CoT pod-sode: EVERYone is clever and very funny (Tim - in particular - provides *hilarious* non sequiturs). The overall group dynamic is that they're the type of folks I would gladly join the discussion with.
It’s the first time I’ve subscribed to a podcast where I regularly check to see if there are new submissions - it’s tough to find a podcast that's intelligent and hilarious without being smug and/or overly silly - but this group of folks do a mighty fine job of managing it.”Read full review »
