Fun podcast, perhaps a little out of touch
I am a regular subscriber to many Economist podcast and find their content and production quality impressive overall. With checks and balance, I’ve been on the fence so far. There’s something a little off about almost comically British-accented reporters lauding the romance of (say) Iowa caucuses, while their American side kicks are scrambling to chime in that’s is actually a pretty non-inclusive primary. It’s weird to hear the Economist cover the US elections as if taking place in a wacky peripheral country, but hey, here we are.

This is an excellent podcast. The content on the podcast is a nice mix of quantitative analysis, with experts familiar with whatever relevant data; historical perspective, including with audio clips from earlier eras; and a decently balanced view that looks at pros and cons regardless of your...Read full review »
