I ran across this podcast as I was struggling with being a first time Choral director. Huge impact on my outlook and rehearsal strategies. An incredibly important tool!!

Anyone leading, singing or interested in choral music should make this a part of their regular podcast rotation. Topics range from the practical (e.g. vocal pedagogy, teaching sight reading) to the philosophical (choirs and diversity/equity, how we interact with our colleagues online and what we...Read full review »

This podcast was the piece I didn’t know I was missing as a choral director. It’s caused me to reevaluate every aspect of my job and create new definitions of excellence for myself and my students. I have benefited equally from the practical ideas and the philosophical ideas. I’m so grateful to...Read full review »

This podcast is both inspiring and challenging. Chris doesn’t shy away from difficult conversations or topics to highlight both effective and ineffective mindsets and techniques in the choral profession overall. This podcast never fails to deliver a challenge to continue growing in our craft, and...Read full review »

The information in this podcast is top notch. I’ve learned so much and I appreciate the wide variety of topics. Ok, here is the only criticism. Would it be possible to improve the sound quality? It sounds like your in a tin can.

My mind is blown is such a good way! It makes me want to learn more and really understand overtones. I especially appreciate the accessible ideas I can implement right away- and the idea of “rainbow ears” is revelatory! (Stay tuned to the end!)

There were 25 star reviews before the podcast even was launched. That is fraudulent and reeks of dishonesty. I can't tell which is worse, the audio quality or the rampant ego. This guy Muncie is so full of it. He names his students in his podcast and shares personal stories about them,...Read full review »

II’m sold. Chris Munce is articulate and communicates (as any music educator should) with clarity and soberness. He doesn’t claim to be an expert in any area he isn’t, he doesn’t shy away from the authority his experience has given him either. Completely relatable and a must for the choral...Read full review »

I have really enjoyed listening to this podcast. I think as quality music educators, it is vital to know what we are doing, and why we are doing it, to help our students really understand the what and the why. Chris does a really great job of bringing topics that help with that self-reflection.
