Its ok
I feel the enthusiasm for bringing fresh perspectives fell on the wayside a while ago with this pod. An update for the talking points of the day (although perhaps more a self-sooth for writers who otherwise should stick to the day job), the presenters though highly esteemed are pretty centre ground conservatives, which would mean today they privately veer left and anti-brexit (at least certainly the younger presenters who wont say that but clearly they are professional and ambitiously unwilling to put a foot forward according to the climate of news today). This makes for a passing sentiment of what matters to those with traditional values and a glint in the eye when talking all things left from scotland, wales and London… don't expect the west-country or Ireland to get much of a lick. Im starting to think who is this for? Politicians? No. Conservative right? No. Libdems? No No. Labour? No No, Yes but No. I guess this podcast is suffering the same Identity crisis the Conservatives have been having with the grip of a pro migration academia to suit its massive costs from foreign students and investors verses the grass roots conservatives who don't have this concern and worry about culture outside of London and the cap and gown world.Read full review »

The podders are contorting themselves to not condemn Theresa May over immigration again. Very funny- It’s like modernist performance art. Still hard to understand their accents, except for Isabel :) Dr Davies

This podcast is an imperative listen for anyone which a penchant for British politics. It strikes a good balance between providing salient facts, alongside detailed analysis — Mr Forsyth is a very erudite individual.
