“Great listen. It's told almost like a story like an audiobook about a composer a week with excerts through-out. I'm sitting advanced higher music this year and found the information on each composer and the excerpts very valuable. You get a better insight into the sound of the periods and what the composers were like during this time. It also gives you lots of interesting facts about composers, handy to bring up in conversation if you want to look clever and well informed :) I'm going to university to study music next year. Knowing about composers has been useful in interviews for courses and should hopefully give me a wee head start on the history. The only thing that would be nice to improve on would be a little longer excerpts. But then the podcast would be a lot longer.”Read full review »
