She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2023 with B.A.s in International Studies and Philosophy. Her undergraduate honors thesis consisted of researching the efficacy of small sustainable development organizations in Kenya. She also conducted research and co-authored a paper on Taiwan's New Southbound Policy in 2022. She was a captain of the NCAA Division I equestrian team while at UT Martin. Casey is passionate about the environment, education, and service. She is now based in Arlington VA and works for a nonprofit that serves communities in Uganda with education, healthcare, and community development.
