With 17 years of experience as an ombuds, Liz is an attorney, trained mediator, and certified organizational ombudsman practitioner (CO-OP®). She brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as a Hotel & Restaurant Manager, Arizona Assistant Attorney General, Assistant Ombudsman for the State of Arizona, and Organizational Ombudsman for Apollo Education Group. Liz currently serves as Chair-Elect of the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution and Chair of the International Ombuds Association's CO-OP® Communications Committee. She also co-founded Ombuzz, a blog on workplace conflict resolution, and OmbudsLinked, a LinkedIn group for ombuds professionals.
