“Much needed critical thought leveraged towards the multi-million (or is it billion now)? “Wellness” industry; I’m grateful for this podcast. However, to echo other critics I do wish there was a little more effort made to curtail the conversational cross talk, and more effort put into editing. Perhaps this is the downside of 3 co-hosts? Instead of the usual Host & Guest- which is much easier to track. The constant back and forth & personal commentary from each of the hosts gets annoying quickly, and often veers into a place of judgment, leaving me feel like I’m listening in to locker room talk. The chattiness in some episodes gets so overwhelming that I tune out and never get around to the main topic of which I had tuned in to in the first place. I’m afraid this dynamic is precisely why the people I’ve sent it to have not been able to listen to it- there’s simply too much poking fun, too many names & obscure references made each episode that for anyone say, less educated in academia speak or coming from an English degree background, will not get. It’s off putting. If only the podcast could be more straightforward and break things down more easily. Restate the mission of this podcast each week. Remind listeners of what Conspirituality means. Introduce the topic and or person of the show. Simplify the themes of each episode. The reading of multiple headlines seems completely unnecessary unless it’s tied to the stated subject of the days podcast. Otherwise, this podcast is just another example of preaching to choir and more white boys flapping their jaws about things they never had any intention of being curios about in the first place. More sorrow less snarkiness might reach more people. Signed- a former anti-vaxxer (among other things)”
