“I really want to like this podcast. I was raised in the New Age community and have experienced this rise in conspiracies and right-wing rhetoric in the last few years. My issue is that these guys are a bit condescending towards people with alternative politics and views, and also lean a bit too heavily into the doctrine of identity politics and critical theory (which has an element of cultishness and religiosity in and of itself). I think being a bit more compassionate and curious towards the people you are analyzing would go a long way, and could even serve to deprogram people.”
